Is online survey-taker a legit job?

I keep getting e-mails with job offers like “Online Surveyer” or “Product Reviewer”. They promise pay with no catch and no purchase necessary. They want some of my basic information and promise to set me up with various companies to take surveys and stuff. Are these legit? I just want a little bit of extra money per month.

No, not legit. There are some where if you do enough surveys, you might occasionally get a $10 or even $25 gift certificate, but only every few months.
