Sure the local papers and magazines are still a great way to find some things for free but many times competing with quite a few other people that have seen the advertisement already. As far as online classified websites go Craigslist.org is king. It is by far the most popular for people to post their ads on and it’s also gets the most traffic.
Another great way to find free stuff online is by entering contests and drawings. There’s quite a few websites, forums and blogs out there that offer prizes and have giveaways simply for being a member or participating in discussions. One of these such websites is Wallstreetsurvivor.com. It’s a stock market game/contest and it offers both cash prizes as well as giveaways.
No matter what when it comes to finding free stuff online the only thing you have to do is look. You may have to be a bit diligent but in time you will find that there’s a ton of stuff out there for free if you keep looking in the right places. If you’re not successful imidietly don’t give up, it will only be a matter of time until you gain your first free item or service.
