My Personal Review On Britax Boulevard 70 Convertible Car Seat

good site with a couple of issues So far, so pretty well with the Boulevard to us. We chose this seat based on comments CR, Baby reviews offers and the fact that it was easy to adjust the straps for both the tension and height. Our son seems very comfortable in the seat, and naps on it without problems. However, the seat has some drawbacks that should not really be considered the price exorbitant.

- The seat is easy to install, but very heavy and very large. We have a 2010 Toyota Rav-4, but I still think the seat is too big. It fits, but I think we’ll be able to use the same model as a second seat in our small sedan.

- The constant rotation straps, again, should not be a problem because it was a safety seat $ 300. Seriously, could not have solved that problem with a small part of my purchase price? They are also difficult to keep out of the way to set up my small seat, so I have to take them out from under him (before detorsion them) most of the time. Included in the Velcro straps and seat to help deal with this problem, but it’s basically useless.

- Do not know if it’s because the overall size of the safety, or is just a nightmare from the rear-facing seats, but it’s hard to get our son in and out of the seat in the rear facing position. Even at 10 months, hate and out of the seat, but is fine once you are in and buckled. I almost have to keep arms out, fall on him and then lean across the seat and the car to fasten the harness. Super annoying.

- I have not tried to remove the seat fabric for cleaning (and after reading some of the other reviews, I’m not anxious to try it), but the buckle on the top is a pain in the neck to clean if something gets therein. Again, this could be the case for any seat, but after spending 20 minutes trying to scrape the spitting, I keep a bib in the car to put my son immediately.

All that being said, I’m pretty happy with the seat since our son is quite tall (almost 34 inches to 10 months), we needed a bigger place to accommodate to keep looking back as much as possible, so was probably our best bet.
